Mark Beguelin - Winter Street Law Group

Mark Beguelin

Growing up I attended Reno area schools and graduated from the University of Nevada-Reno in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice. I then attended California Western School of Law in San Diego, California, earning the Dean’s List for academic distinction in the fall of 1989 and obtaining my law degree in 1989.

After graduating from law school, I returned to Nevada and accepted a position with the office of the Nevada Attorney General, representing and defending various State agencies before Administrative Courts, District Courts and the Nevada Supreme Court. In 1991, I left the Attorney General’s Office and opened a private practice with a focus on Domestic Relations, Bankruptcy, Criminal Defense and Collections matters.

When I am not practicing law as a member of the now Winter Street Law Group team, I spend my time fighting for continued public access to public lands for lawful recreation in Nevada. I also enjoy camping, hiking, exploring ghost towns and all motor sports. While not as skilled as I would like to be sometimes, I also enjoy metal fabrication/welding and working on 4×4 vehicles. I am also an avid reader of modern history.
